One Health Logo Competition

Do you like drawing, making digital artwork, or painting? Enter the One Health logo competition for the chance to have your art featured on our website and to win a $50 gift card!

What is One Health? 

Do you have pets, raise livestock, enjoy hunting, fishing or hiking outdoors? Did you know that diseases can spread from animal to human? If yes, then One Health is something you should know about.

One Health is the idea that the health of people is connected to the health of animals and our shared environment. Diseases can spread from animal to human, and it is important we understand how to prevent the spread of disease to keep everyone, including animals healthy. When we protect one, we protect all.

Logo Design Requirements

The Nevada Office of State Epidemiology is looking for youth (ages 8 to 18) to create a unique logo specific to Nevada One Health that will be placed on our website and One Health materials. We would like for the logo to include all of the following:

• At least 1 picture of livestock (cow, sheep, pig, etc.)
• At least 1 picture of a pet (dog, cat, etc.)
• At least 1 picture of wildlife found in Nevada (deer, elk, bighorn sheep, etc.)
• At least 1 picture of a young person

Please use our website as inspiration for design and style examples. This logo should show the interaction of animals and humans.

How to Apply

Each submission must complete a media/artwork release form to allow OSE to use the logos on the website and materials.

Please submit your logo art by scanning your logo (in a pdf or jpeg with a max of 20 megabytes) and send it to stateepi@health.nv.gov along with your release form, and with the subject title as “One Health Logo Competition Submission”. Please include your name, age, email (or parents’ email if you do not have one), and best phone number for us to reach you at.

Prize and Due Date

We will select one winner who will receive a $50 gift card and will have their logo placed on our website and used on One Health material. Please have your logo submitted to us by 11:59pm on August 31, 2023.
